Plus d'un mois sans mettre à jour le site, oups... désolé. Il faut dire que c'est parfois pénible de s'astreindre à la tâche. Toujours est-il que pour cette mise à jour j'ajoute deux nouvelles créations dans la galerie.

J'ai également retravaillé plusieurs tableaux: entremer, une composition de 2009, le portrait de Marie et enfin le tableau jeune femme et son chat. Pour chacune de ces reprises vous trouverez sur la fiche concernée l'historique des états précédents. Dans la mesure du possible je vais essayer de systématiser ce procédé lors des mises à jour.

Before joining the North of France for an enjoyable family vacation - except that I put petrol instead of diesel oil in my car, where I had the head, before So my trip, I prepared 21 media painting.
These are small boards of about 6x12 cm, dressed with a traditional coating applied layer after layer patiently and sanded between each application, according to a recipe from Xavier de Langlais. It is quite time-consuming, but in the end we obtain a smooth surface and bright especially nice to paint.
I present you the first two paintings in this series of miniatures made during the holidays. You will also find links to two other tables over whom I worked in the last fortnight. These days, meetings of drawings on the computer using the tablet.

Resumed two tables dealing with the figure. I'm back on the portrait of Mary, carried there a fortnight. Upon reflection, I felt it necessary to clarify the expression and change its tone. The second table, older, known for its part one ... 8th state! I return at greater length about my motivations for this painting on the sheet devoted to it.

The table which I presented the sketch last week is over, at least in the sense that for now I no longer felt the need to work on it. So I hasten to add it to the gallery. Even not dry on touch and already online: if it's not reactivity, it's at least no delay in updating the site!

The gallery will gain a new canvas with a picture of my companion (oil painting). I also updated the form L'esprit souterrain, a 2009 canvas on which I worked hard this week.

The premise of sunny days make me want to paint on the ground. While waiting to put my easel in nature, I work on a composition featuring the citadel of Corte in Haute-Corse, which I show you below the schematic.

After more of 8 months absence, the comments on jcenligne are coming back.

When rewriting the site in 2009, I had no time to implement this feature that provides a more user-friendly experience and is likely to avoid the monologues. Apart from the traditional Guestbook, visitors can once again leave comments in the gallery. And I might also respond to their messages, like on a blog. However jcenligne is not a blog, or it's a ... bloguerie, aside bugs of course. Sorry, this is a related french humour that doesn't have easy translation. The first visitors will notice that I have handed their previous posts in place. Finally, those I found in my archive.

The gallery also undergoing a facelift for the slideshow, I think it's better now. Remember that your browser must accept cookies and javascript for this little world correctly works. But as someone said, if you do not know what it is then you probably not need it.

On the shop this is not the Arlesienne. This project is progressing really. In term of software perspective, it is 'completed'. However opening a store, although it is virtual, requires some other settings than computers.

As I announced in late 2009, jcenligne.fr soon propose the purchase of originals and art prints through an online store. There are still some loose ends before opening this section of the site, but this does not delay!

Meanwhile, our English speaker friends will be pleased to note that the site has been translated into the language of Shakespeare. Although a few texts are always in French and that translation is not perfect, I hope this will give Internet users concerned a more pleasant visit on jcenligne.fr.

The best in history is that I hope return at my brushes quickly ... as soon as I finish organizing this sale shop and some work to be done on other sites.
