Through the online store's website you can now purchase originals or reproductions of my work.

As an art portfolio, jcenligne.fr is there since 2006. As an website there is older. For more information you can visit the historic of the site ( in french only, sorry for that ).

Artistic Approach

The creation and personal expression are part of my life since forever. Having discovered computers at age 11, passionate about software development, my creativity has expressed mainly in this area during long time.

In 2004 I was led to question myself.

A certain weariness of computing, the need to continue to create, to remain free, the importance of a daily in accord with my innermost being, the desire to express myself artistically... Some elements of a long reflexion to reach a decision in 2005 : fully devote myself to artistic experiences.

Since then I try to improve my technique and my style.

To paraphrase Boris Vian, i take pleasure in creating what i love when i make it. That's probably here that my main intent is.

Expositions

I chose to expose my work mainly on the Internet through this site, which is already a lot of time to spend outside the workshop. We don't Imagine what a website require in term of work ! Sometimes, however, I participate in exhibitions. This provides another look, a different perspective on his work and can meet art lovers and artists. All this is clearly rewarding, yet I must admit that it is not too much my cup of tea ... Like many other designers I prefer to invest my time in the studio.
